My new book How Beautiful Was My Valley will be available on Amazon in mid June. The book is a light hearted recounting of my boyhood growing up in the magical northern Ontario farming community of Sylvan Valley during the 1950s and '60s.
To convey the beauty of Sylvan Valley, I have added images of paintings by Robert-Ralph Carmichael; and, integrated photos which echo the life, the work, and The Valley of my youth.
The book also includes memories of my initial years living in the inimitable Finnish-Canadian wilderness community of Wabos before we moved to The Valley.
